By embracing the Direct Primary Care (DPC) model, Dr. Zaki can prioritize the unique needs of her patients without the burdensome constraints imposed by insurance companies and the bureaucratic challenges associated with Medicare.
Transitioning from the conventional insurance-driven healthcare model to one that is personalized for each individual patient may appear unfamiliar and perplexing. However, Direct Primary Care (DPC) is not a novel approach to patient care. It represents a movement among independent physicians who aspire to resurrect a nearly forgotten ideal in medical practice, where patients are prioritized over profits. Remember the days when doctors made house calls and knew their patients by name?
How Are We Different

Did you know that most Primary Care Physicians have between 2,500-3,500 patients? Our physicians will limit their practice to 400 patients per physician. This means they can spend more time with you when needed. It also means that when they are not actively seeing a patient, they are able to coordinate your care and research the latest advances in treatments. At Grace Direct Care we are not paid by insurance. So, you won’t have a middle man in your primary care. Decisions about your healthcare will be made by you and your physician, without the impersonal management that inevitably comes from third-party payers. Instead, patients pay a low monthly membership fee which can save money and lead to better treatment. Patients can still use their insurance in most situations for other medical expenses.
